Joanne is a highly skilled professional hairdresser and educator. She has worked in the industry for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience.
Joanne started her hairdressing journey as a young 16 year old, doing work experience in a salon in her school holidays, which led her to do her four year apprenticeship, where she won several competitions, and qualified as a hairdresser.
She then continued to expand her knowledge and creativity to establish her own successful business where she passed on her skills to her staff, as well as trained up several members of her team for over ten years.
Her passion for making her clients feel incredible earned her salon an Australian Achievers Award in 1998. She then furthered her passion by combining the two things she loved most, and decided to teach in the industry.
Joanne holds qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Hairdressing, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as a Diploma in Salon Management.
